Nest opened its doors at 13 South Main Street, Wigtown in July 2024 after a full conversion of a house to create a shop and self contained flat above. Both have been lovingly and sympathetically converted to emphasise the period features exposed during the renovations.

Work continues on the flat 'Wren's Nest' in preparation to offer it as a holiday rental. As Claire is working on the flat in the evenings after her days in the shop, things are taking a little longer than she hoped.

Although the shop is open Monday - Saturday, 10.30am to 4.00pm, we may have to close a couple of days here and there as the log burner is being installed in the shop in October and the work upstairs in the flat my be too noisy for comfortable shopping.

To allow time for the renovations, the website is temporarily paused. We look forward to relaunching the site early 2026, but meanwhile, hope that you will visit the shop if you are in the area.
