Nest opened its doors at 13 South Main Street, Wigtown in July 2024 after a full conversion of a house to create a shop and self contained flat above. Both have been lovingly and sympathetically renovated to emphasise the period features exposed during the renovations.

Work continues on the flat 'Wren's Nest' in preparation to offer it as a holiday rental. As Claire has been working on the flat in the evenings after her days in the shop, things are taking a lot longer than she hoped and after a few particularly busy months in the shop and a bad back, there hasn't been any progress in the flat, so she has decided to close the shop for a few weeks. This will allow work to continue on the flat and for her to get caught up on dreaded accounts and paperwork.

Whilst the renovations continue, the website is temporarily paused. We look forward to hopefully relaunching the site this year, but meanwhile, hope that you will visit the shop if you are in the area.
