Nest opened its doors at 13 South Main Street, Wigtown in July 2024 after a full conversion of a house to create a shop and self contained flat above. Both have been lovingly and sympathetically renovated to emphasise the period features exposed during the renovations.

Work continues on the flat above the shop 'Wren's Nest' in preparation to offer it as a holiday rental. As Claire has been working on the flat in the evenings after her days in the shop, things are taking a lot longer than planned, but she hopes to have it ready to let by late summer 2026.

Whilst the renovations continue, the website is temporarily paused. We look forward to hopefully relaunching the site later this year, but meanwhile, hope that you will visit the shop if you are in the area.
